Notice of Special General Meeting

Attention All Member Clubs:

Please find included with this memo a notice of the Canoe Kayak BC Members for a Special General Meeting. As per CKBC bylaws Notice of General Meetings, all materials such as will be made available fourteen (14) days in advance or more of the meeting. 

As our Society spans the entire Province, voting members will be able to attend the Special General Meeting by way of online meeting. Please see the notice attached for registration requirements. 

We look forward to seeing you on June 11, 2025 where we will be looking to the membership to ratify these special resolutions. Please visit the Meetings (SGM & AGM) section of our website for all required information.

The reason for a special meeting is to put forth the new set of bylaws in a separate meeting so they can be registered and filed with the registrar of companies prior to implementing our Annual General Meeting.
