37 Athletes Nominated to the 2024-25 Canoe Kayak BC Provincial and NextGen Teams

Canoe Kayak BC (CKBC) is excited to announce the initial nominations for the 2024-25 Provincial and NextGen Teams. These nominations are based on the athletes' exceptional ON-WATER performance during the past season, showcasing their dedication, skill, and potential for future success. The final team selections will be confirmed after OFF-WATER testing at the Fall Training Camp, which will take place from October 15 to 18, 2024.

The Fall Training Camp is a key component of the athlete evaluation process, offering a comprehensive assessment of both physical and mental preparedness for the upcoming season. The OFF-WATER testing will be the final stage before the Provincial and NextGen Teams are finalized.

The CKBC Technical Director, Stan Marek, commented on the nominations: 

"We are proud to see such a strong group of athletes being considered for the Provincial and NextGen Teams. Their hard work and determination on the water have been impressive, and we look forward to seeing how they perform in the next phase of testing."
