Announcing the Taste of Paddling Team Challenge - Uniting Paddlers in a Thrilling New Event!
Dear Canoe Kayak BC Community,
Excitement is in the air as we introduce an incredible new event that promises to unite paddlers, showcase talents, and create unforgettable memories. In partnership with the False Creek Racing Canoe Club, we present the Taste of Paddling Team Challenge!

Entry Fee: $30.00 Per Participant
What is the Taste of Paddling Team Challenge?
This groundbreaking event is all about embracing the diverse world of paddling under the Canoe Kayak BC umbrella. Picture this: teams of 5, each composed of paddlers from various age categories and abilities, coming together for a day of thrilling competition and camaraderie in several different paddling disciplines; Canoe, Kayak, SUP, Surfki and OC-6.
What to Expect:
- Multidisciplinary Fun: The Taste of Paddling Team Challenge combines several disciplines, offering a taste of the diverse paddling experiences within our community.
- Team Bonding: Teams will need to strategize and arrange their paddlers wisely to compete in all the exciting events throughout the day.
- All-Youth Ages, All-Abilities: This event is open to everyone, from young talents to seasoned youth paddlers, ensuring inclusivity and celebration of our diverse community.
As we embark on this exciting new event, we kindly ask for your support, enthusiasm, and understanding. Like any new adventure, there may be a few hiccups along the way, but together, we'll navigate them and make this challenge event a huge success.
To accommodate morning travel time for our clubs, the regatta is scheduled to start later in the morning. This gives everyone a chance to arrive refreshed and ready to paddle!
Our primary goal is to make the Taste of Paddling Team Challenge an event to remember, filled with fun, excitement, and a strong sense of community. So, mark your calendars, gather your teams, and get ready to embark on this fantastic new paddling adventure!
